What is ColorTec?

ColorTec is the ultimate pattern tufting tecnology, capable of producing up to 6 color carpets and rugs in almost any pattern imaginable.

ColorTec is a basic tufting tecnology, using the well-known tecniques of individual needle control, sliding, needle bar and intermittent cloth feed.

ColorTec weaves the design together with the carpet, thus achieving a cut pile carpet with outstanding quality and and sophisticated appearance.

How ColorTec operates?

Based upon the renowned tufting weaving system, ColorTec carpets are manufactures by following the principle of ICN (Individually Controlled Needle) and SNB (Sliding Needle Bar) with intermittent feed of the primary backing material. The feeding system enables a left and right sideways movement of the needle bar, which combined with the individually controlled needle (ICN) completes the raw of stitches before moving onto the next raw.
This system has 6 lateral movements, and each of them can be used by a different color. Thus each yarn can be knotted independently with any color in use, therefore achieving high definition to complex designs.

The individual control of every stitch is computarized, thus resulting in exceptionally bright designs being as accurate as the original blueprint.
Unlike other methods, ColorTec weaves the carpet and the design simultaneously allowing to create an unrivaled product as regards appearance and quality.
